I've always enjoyed sports and outdoor activities. Whether it was my church's annual kickball and soccer game, or my older brother teaching me and my younger brother ladder drills that he learned playing high school football. My fitness journey truly started when I began wrestling in 9th grade. My good friend Ethan, aka "Manimal", invited me to come to a practice, and I've loved the sport since then.

I spent a year wrestling at ESU before the pandemic caused most people to isolate. Like many people, it was a rough time physically and mentally for me. But I knew that something had to change, and it had to start with me. During that time, I got my personal training certification and started applying to every gym in my area that Google maps would show me. I informed Head Coach Nieves at ESU of my goal to find a gym and he immediately pointed me in the right direction.
My first job at this gym was under the old management as a cleaner. After shadowing Kris with his clients, I was given the opportunity to aid him with some of the process. Between the shadowing and receiving personal training myself, I developed a deeper understanding of the process and impact of making detailed changes. So, I plan to use the knowledge obtained to focus on my next step and continue developing in this ever-growing field.
